VIENNA ART WEEK
This year’s motto is “Seeking Beauty” and several museums, galleries as well as exhibition rooms worked together to organise the VIENNA ART WEEK. For all art lovers: More than 200 events are offered, ranging from live performances and lectures, to tours and films considering the topic of “beauty”.

Once again, the international book fair and reading week will take place in the Austrian capital. Around 330 exhibitors from ten different countries present their current offer including novels, children’s and youth books as well as electronic media, comics, biographies, trade journals, audio books and foreign language literature. Also fantasy and science fiction fans will enjoy the fair. The supporting programme consists of readings, seminars and workshops for students.

PHOTO + ADVENTURE FAIR 2017
The Photo + Adventure fair combines the three booming leisure topics: photography, travel and outdoor. Visitors are part of a photo and travel festival and at the same time they have the chance to collect useful information. The supporting programme consists of plenty of workshops and lectures focusing on the travel sector as well as on the latest technical developments in the photo industry.

WINTER AT MUSEUMSQUARTIER
The Viennese MuseumsQuartier is not only a popular hotspot in summer. In November, the courtyard turns into an impressive winter landscape. WIENER WEIHNACHTSTRAUM AT RATHAUSPLATZ
This year, the “Wiener Weihnachtstraum” at Rathausplatz opens on November 18. Be there when the giant Christmas tree gets lit for the first time and the “Gardemusik” Vienna as well as the music society “Franstanz” perform on stage. The Christmas market with its 150 stands offers a lot of inspiration for Christmas gifts, Christmas decorations, arts and crafts, culinary delights, sweets and warm drinks.

KULTUR- UND WEIHNACHTSMARKT AT SCHÖNBRUNN PALACE
On November 18, the Christmas market in front of Schönbrunn Palace will open its doors. In around 80 festively decorated huts there is a lot to discover. The magnificently lighted courtyard in front of the castle attracts many visitors and is considered as a particularly beautiful pre-Christmas experience.
