Three things should not be left out during Christmas time: biscuits, mulled wine and Christmas cards! Therefore, our students baked and did handicrafts while having lots of fun.
Cooking evenings are always fun! Regardless of whether you are preparing Palatschinken, Kaiserschmarrn or Wiener Schnitzel, cooking and eating together is a pleasure. Just in time for Christmas, our students made mulled wine, which is a favoured seasonal drink in Austria.
Mulled wine is made of wine, water, sugar and oranges, spiced with cloves and cinnamon. These spices provide the wonderful flavour which is part of the Christmas time. If you wish to try mulled wine yourself, visit a Christmas market in Vienna or prepare it at home, just like our students did. They made mulled wine, ate cookies and played games together.
On another evening, our students designed Christmas cards for their friends and families back home. Things were cut, painted and there was lots of laughter. In the end, everyone designed unique Christmas cards for their loved ones.
