We are continuing our teacher profile series, today we meet Sebastian!
What do you enjoy about teaching?
I enjoy teaching a lot, as I like dealing with people and languages, getting to know new people, especially in a multicultural environment like ActiLingua.
Is there a fun story from your time as an ActiLingua teacher, which you can share?
I haven’t been with ActiLingua for very long, but I’ve heard one or the other curious word confusion. For example, calling a stubborn person a fat head.
What do you like to do most during your off time in Vienna?
I love meeting up and hanging out with friends, while still exploring more about Vienna. In my opinion, Vienna is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe with an incredible quality of living.
Which pub/bar/restaurant could you recommend to our ActiLingua Students?
I would recommend the Dachboden at the 25h Hotel in Vienna. You can enjoy a stunning view over the 1st district and the Museumsquartier, which is more than worth a visit during the spring and summer months.
What is your personal sightseeing tip for people visiting Vienna?
I absolutely believe Vienna caters to every cultural preference and taste. My personal favourite during summer has to be the Danube Canal. Primarily young people are drawn to the urban vibe around the canal.
