ActiLingua Residence Studentensteckbrief Aleksandra

What’s your name and where are you from?
My name is Aleksandra and I’m from Russia.

How long have you been staying at the ActiLingua Residence already?
I’ve been here for two months now. This is my second stay. I had already been here last year.

Why did you chose the ActiLingua Residence for your stay?
I had previously stay with a host family in Canada and didn’t quite enjoy the experience. That’s why I chose the Residence. I really liked the fact that it was close to the school and that getting to know new people would be easier there. I found the Residence while searching the internet.

What kind of apartment are you staying in?
I’ve booked a standard single room and am sharing my apartment with another girl.

What do you enjoy most about your apartment at the ActiLingua Residence?
It has two bathrooms and two fridges. The apartment is very spacious and nicely split up, you live together, yet you still have enough privacy.

Do you ever cook together or have movie nights, or nights about the town?
Yes, we do movie and cooking nights and sometimes spend our leisure time together.

What do like most about the staff at the ActiLingua Residence?
The staff is very nice. You always feel well taken care of. However, it would be great if the facility personnel spoke better English to make communication easier.

What are your favourite things to do in your time off in Vienna?
I love going to the cinema (Haydn or IMAX), the Christmas markets, the museums and just taking a stroll through the inner city.

What are some must-sees in Vienna?
Hofburg Palace, the aquamarine zoo, which is incredible and all the cultural sights and art there is to see.

What are your concluding thoughts about ActiLingua?
ActiLingua is a great place to find many new friends!
